PacBio Revio

Revio is a gene sequencing machine used for human genetic analysis, cancer research, agricultural genomics, and more. It performs genetic diagnostic tests including revealing underlying genetic disease, understanding cancer's complex genomic structure, and characterizing infectious viruses, microbes, and rare diseases.
Revio is an all-in-one laboratory machine that includes an interior test chamber that the user interfaces with. The chamber contains genetic material sample cell trays, a robotic arm, and a waste bin. The test chamber is light-tight, and temperature controlled. Its access door automatically slides down to access the interior work deck. Two user interface displays (interior and exterior) indicate set-up, status, and results.

CORNEA Virtual Reality System

The CORNEA VR System is a fully immersive virtual reality facility, a 6-sided CAVE environment, with a 24-channel immersive audio system and 16-megapixel resolution per wall per eye, making it one of the highest resolution VR environments in the world. Visualization and simulation software can be used in this facility, allowing users to navigate and explore their data in a mode that inspires new ideas and new questions to advance research, as well as to provide a clear understanding of complex phenomena.
The system can accommodate 7 users simultaneously. The dimension of each wall is 10ft x 10ft (usable pixels approximately 4096 x 4096). Total effective resolution of 96 Megapixels (16x6) per eye.

It is based on single reaction chamber technology, that combines microwave heating with a high-pressure reactor to achieve extraordinary performance capabilities. It allows simultaneous digestion of any sample type combination. The ultraWAVE chamber is sealed, pressurized, heated, cooled, vented, and opened via a dedicated touch-screen control terminal. Loading a rack of samples into the chamber is the only manual operation in an otherwise fully automated process of microwave-assisted sample preparation.

CUBE Virtual Reality System

The CUBE VR System is a semi-immersive virtual reality environment featuring a 7x3 arrangement of stereo HD LED system from BARCO, in a semi-circle configuration. As opposed to CORNEA, it is possible to divide the system into a mixed 2D and 3D facility. This feature makes the system an ideal tool to explore complex datasets while analyzing other relevant information to search for interesting correlations and data connections.
The Cube CAVE has 7 columns with 3 rows of BARCO OLS-521 Cubes. Each column is rotated by 30 degrees. The layout of the tiles is 180-degree concave. Each column is planar.

Sputtering is a physical vapor deposition process in which positively charged ions generated in plasma are accelerated by an electrical field to strike the negative target with sufficient energy to dislodge and eject atoms from the target. The ejected atoms condense on substrate to form a thin film. Sputter machine is capable of depositing thin metallic and dielectric layers. The sputtering system has six magnetron sputtering cathodes which accommodate 3 inch diameter targets and can be used with DC or RF sputtering.
Available targets at present are Pt, Au, Cr, AI, SiO2 and Ti.
Sample - a wide range of solid material including silicon, metal, insulator with maximum diameter of 6 inch and maximum thickness of 3 mm. Not applicable for powders, polymers, organics, carbon and toxic materials.
